A spring-loaded metal perch recognizes the weight of a squirrel and lowers, simultaneously closing access to the ports. This durable squirrel proof bird feeder is constructed of steel and will last many years in your backyard. Windows in the side of the feeder let you know when it's time to refill the 9lbs of seed. The TopLoc feature of this feeder makes doing so a breeze. The lid locks in place, making it simple to fill with just one hand. Hardware is included for hanging or mounting (pole not included), making this functional bird feeder even more versatile.
